  • Verification of Joined Candidates: Takes place between 14th January to 15th January 2025.

Resignation Process for Round 1 and Round 2 Candidates:

MCC has received multiple requests from NEET PG candidates wishing to resign from their Round 1 or Round 2 seats for various reasons. In response, the competent authority has decided to permit such resignations within the following timeframe:

  • From 04:00 PM on 17th December 2024 to 06:00 PM on 26th December 2024

Eligibility Criteria for Round 3 NEET PG Counselling:

Candidates eligible for Round 3 Counselling include:

Fresh Registrations: Candidates who still need to register in Round 1 or Round 2 need to complete fresh registration with full payment of fees.

Freshly Allotted Round-2 Candidates: Candidates who joined their Round 2 seats but now wish to resign can vacate their seats with forfeiture of the security deposit within the stipulated resignation period.

Upgraded Candidates in Round 2: Candidates who upgraded to a new seat in Round 2, joined the upgraded seat, and now want to resign can also vacate their seats with forfeiture of the security deposit within the stipulated time.

Physical Reporting for Resignation: Candidates must report physically to their allotted college to initiate the resignation process.

Not Allotted in Earlier Rounds: Candidates registered in Round 1 or Round 2 but were not allotted any seat need not register again.

Upgrading Candidates: Candidates who wish to upgrade from their Round 2 seats must join the Round 3 seat upon allotment.

Mandatory Online Resignation Letter:

  • Ensure the Resignation Letter is generated online through the portal provided by MCC.
  • If the resignation letter is not generated online, the resignation will be treated as ‘Null & Void’.
