The NEET PG 2024 exam date has been announced by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). The latest announcement is that August 11, 2024, is the date for NEET PG 2024. This announcement brings relief and clarity to many aspirants eagerly waiting for the new date.

Revised Schedule Notification:

In the revised schedule, NBE stated: “In continuation of NBEMS notice dated June 22, 2024, the conduct of NEET PG 2024 examination has been rescheduled. The NEET PG 2024 will now held on August 11-2024, in two shifts.”

Two Shifts Exam Details:

Soon, more details on the two shifts for NEET PG 2024 will be available on the NBEMS website. Candidates can use the NBEMS Communication Web Portal to contact the organization with any questions or requests for help.

NEET PG 2024 Postponement and Rescheduling Background:

The Union Health Ministry postponed NEET PG 2024 at the last minute as a precautionary measure. Initially set for June 23, 2024, the Ministry postponed it on June 22, 2024, just 12 hours before the exam.

This decision followed allegations of the NEET UG 2024 paper leak and the cancellation of the UGC NET exam. Since then, doctors have eagerly awaited an official notification from the NBE and Health Ministry.

NEET PG 2024 Exam Syllabus and Format:

The NEET PG syllabus will cover subjects and knowledge areas outlined in the Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by the former Medical Council of India, with prior approval from the Government of India.

NEET PG 2024 will be a computer-based test (CBT) comprising 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in English. Each question will have four response options, and candidates must select the correct or most appropriate answer. The total exam duration will be 3 hours and 30 minutes.

NEET PG 2024 Marking Scheme:

No marks will be deducted for questions that are not attempted; incorrect answers will result in a 25% negative mark on the exam. Whether a question has been attempted or not, candidates may mark it for review. These questions can be revisited before the exam ends and will be evaluated according to the marking scheme.
